Recission of Precautionary Boil Water Notice for Fairfield Dr and US Hwy 98

Peoples Water Service has rescinded/canceled the Precautionary Boil Water Notice previously issued on August 29, 2026 for residents along Fairfield Dr from Eliasburg St to Hwy 98.  Included in this notice are residents in the Old Hickory subdivision, Baysprings, Middlebrook, Inez, Daphne, Carrick, Mellow Days, Pond Valley, Sandy Creek, and Martin Dr.  Also, residents along the south side of Hwy 98 from Fairfield Dr to Pensacola S 61st St., including Hunters Pointe, Lake Aire and Peterson Dr, and Sandalwood Apartments.  We have completed the required water quality testing and received confirmation of those water samples tested indicated no presence of harmful bacteria.
